“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, your mind can achieve”
- Napoleon Hill
From the day you are born, your 'computer-brain' gathers information in order to provide you with a world-picture that you can rely on. All this gathered information is stored in the subconscious.
The subconscious doesn't judge or sort the information - it just stores it. All this stored information makes up your world-view. The conscious mind can then use this information to make decisions without having to go through the painstaking process of analysing all information every time. Once your world-view is in place, every new piece of information is filtered to favour input, which supports your existing world-view.
The frightening thing is, that the majority of the information, which your world-view is based on, was gathered before the age of six. In other words; most of us live a life following a programme that is based on the input gathered as a toddler and small child.
Successful people have managed to overrule these old programs, and have replaced them with more updated files suitable for an adult, who is going places.
